Anne Mei and I flew to Chicago yesterday (July 27, 2016). I’d been in and out of Chicago for business meetings, but had never even stayed overnight. Anne Mei has never been here. So far we’ve visited the Chicago Art Institute, done the Chicago Architectural Foundation river tour, and seen two shows. Last night we saw “War Paint” with Patti Lupone and Christine Ebersole; tonight, “A Red Line Runs Through It” at Second City. This morning after we got off the Architectural tour boat we experienced growing gridlock along Michigan Avenue near Grant Park, and Lollapalooza wasn’t even starting until tonight. Luckily we were on foot. So far new and old joints are holding up, with a little boost from Celebrex and ibuprofen.
Sounds like fun! Enjoy!
