Sammie and I were walking along South Street this afternoon on our way to the vet for a bordetella shot. As we approached the vet’s office, a young woman coming the other way shouted “Is that Sammie?” She recognized him from this summer’s Saved Me Rescue fund raising campaign for which Sammie was the poster boy.
